Tinkercad

Tinkercad is a free, web-based 3D design and electronics simulation platform created by Autodesk. It’s especially popular in STEM education because it combines ease of use with powerful tools that cater to young minds. Here’s a quick overview of our Tinkercad lessons:

🖌️ 3D Design

  • Create simple or complex 3D models using drag-and-drop shapes.

  • Export designs for 3D printing (STL/OBJ) or for use in game engines.

  • Useful for designing prototypes, school projects, and maker builds.

🔋 Circuits & Electronics

  • Build and simulate electronic circuits virtually.

  • Includes Arduino simulation, allowing you to write code, connect sensors, LEDs, motors, etc., and test without hardware.

  • Great for learning coding, robotics, and IoT basics.

🧩 CodeBlocks

  • Visual, block-based programming (similar to Scratch) to create parametric 3D designs.

  • Helps students explore computational design.
